Approximately 70% hydrated calcium hypochlorite. Granular product for water disinfection.
The Ministry of Health indicated calcium hypochlorite as a swimming pool disinfectant in the deal between the State and the Regions of 16/01/03. The calcium hypochlorite Granular Calypo is a chloroactive compound used for pool water and drinking water treatment. Dissolved in water it releases hypochlorous acid and calcium hydrate. While calcium hydrate is an insoluble compound which in solutions or in the tank it settles on the bottom, the granular Calypo solution makes available pure hypochlorous acid which is the chemical solution responsible for the disinfection and oxidation of organic substances.
